Adhering to these rules is imperative for the safety of students and the space. Failure to do so will result in loss of Makerspace privileges and referral to Dean of Students.

Safety

  • Before using any tool, identify hazards and describe how to mitigate them.

Access

  • No students are permitted in the Makerspace without faculty escort.
  • Only students with a valid badge may use the corresponding equipment independently.

Organization

  • All workspaces must be cleaned before students leave. Ask for a box if you'd like storage for ongoing projects.
    • Tools must not be left in storage boxes. Put them back where you got them.
  • Most tools supplies and tools have labels indicating where they go. Put them back.
