EAP Malaysia is the leader of the provision of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was started services offered by early autism project malaysia Wisconsin Early Autism Job (WEAP) in September 2006. For all specialists, a first training consisting of 20 hours of courses and 3 weeks on hand-held training is required prior to starting work with a youngster with autism after which routine fortnightly if not once a week guidance is provided with routine overlaps and team conferences.
In addition, WEAP's released study in the American Journal of Mental Retardation (November 2005 problem) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research in 1987 and 1993 wherein 48% of the kids that joined the extensive behavioural treatment had the ability to capture up and participate efficiently in typical school.
Each youngster at EAP is appointed a group of specialists who are monitored by a Manager on a biweekly basis and an Elderly Manager on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progression Reviews twice a year. EAP continues to keep world-class high quality ABA treatment as we continue to have our parent business WEAP monitor our kids twice a year.
Dr. Glen Sallows joined the pioneering research study with Dr. Ivar Lovaas and has brought this world-class treatment to countless people with autism in the UK, Australia, Canada and Malaysia over the last 2 decades. Play Skills are important to a child's advancement.
